Found a way to make a MP3 music as text message tone.

Okay, hi everyone! let me do a lil intro 1st.. Hi im 17. and yeah im from Singapore..its part of asia if some of you out there dont know where is singapore...okay and so basically i just bought my X1. which is sooo totally cool. and i was u know setting things up..time date.. tones etc etc...and as i was trying to change the text message tone and i cant change it to a mp3 tone!! so i on my pc and search on google if i can get some answer...and seems like no 1 can help me with it.. so i was wondering.. Hey.. WMA. tracks can be used as text message tone.. so i went to google to search for a converter to CONVERT MP3 FILES TO WMA. and so i did. AND YEAH it WORKS. i can set my text message tone as Mp3 files. which u have to convert it to WMA

Okay here hows it work.

If you wan Mp3 Music files as ur Text Message tone.

Step 1. Go on google.com type and search for convert MP3 to WMA. and once u found the suitable program u move on to Step 2.

Step 2. Once u found ur suitable Program. Download it and install it. AND ure ALMOST there. move on you to Step 3

Step 3. Convert ANY mp3 FILES to WMA that u want. and transfer those files to ur Memory card Or into ur phone. Moving on to Step 4

Step 4. Place those WMA files that u converted into "My Documents" AND THERE U GO. Go change ur Text Message Tones into ur Mp3 files.

i have mp3 as text message tone, u defined it to be a call ring tone and then it becomes available in the list, change ur call tone to whatever u want and alter the sms tone.
